About Dr. Acosta
Dr. Krizia Acosta is a board-eligible Pediatric Dentist. She was raised in a military family, and grew up in Northern Virginia and then West Texas. After shadowing her pediatric dentist in highschool, she knew she wanted to become a dentist. She earned her bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Virginia. During holiday breaks in college, she would substitute teach at an elementary school. It was then she realized her joy for working with children, and decided to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry.
She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Texas A&M School of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas in 2021. She then completed a one year Fellowship in Compromised Care and Hospital Dentistry before completing two years of Pediatric Residency at Texas A&M School of Dentistry in affiliation with Children’s Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.

Dr. Acosta strives to promote a positive, welcoming, and educational experience for patients and parents. She believes everyone deserves access to good oral health and quality dental care.
Dr. Acosta recently moved to Houston with her fiance. In her free time, Dr. Acosta enjoys traveling and spending time with family. She is an avid runner and enjoys staying active. She is looking forward to exploring Houston’s vibrant food scene and serving her new community.
