Baby Teeth Development Chart and Eruption Schedule

Teeth generally vary in size, shape and their location in the jaws. These differences enable teeth to work together to help you chew, speak and smile. They also help give your face its shape and form. At birth people usually have 20 primary (baby) teeth, which often erupt about 6 months of age. By 33 months, your child should most if not all of their baby teeth erupted.

Also, be sure to visit our Houston Pediatric Dental Office and have your baby’s teeth examined before their 1st birthday, free of charge.
